This MB 107 initially came into us for some rust repair recommended to the client after failing to get blue slip for there treasured vehicle

The more we worked on and looked into it the more rust we un-covered

Not just rust but previous poor workmanship to the point the rear inner wheel arches had a riveted patch covered up with newspaper and lumps of body filler.

Under the stone-guard it wasn’t so obvious, but once removed there was alot more work that ourselves and the client were anticipating

All the floors were rusty, inner and outer sill panels, areas of bonnet, front guards, front inner structurals, boot lid.

This was what we’d call a perfect partial restoration job.

The dash had to come out to be sent away to the dash specialist, the instrument cluster needed to be checked and serviced, the ducting had to be thoroughly looked at, some trim work which included headlining and soft top

This 350sl is going to be regularly used and is a much loved classic in the family

We are just final stages prior to hand-over so she can be enjoyed and driven again.
